British watch brand Dennison draws on a rich and influential history. Founded in 1871 by the American-born Aaron Lufkin Dennison, the company initially specialised in the manufacture of high-quality watch cases, working with household names such as Rolex, Omega, and Jaeger-LeCoultre. Having reemerged in recent years, Dennison continues to champion the ethos that helped it distinguish itself among the companies that defined modern watchmaking, now brought to life in its own watch collections.
While dual-time watches such as GMTs are hardly a rarity today, Dennison offers a refreshing alternative by adopting a twin display layout inspired by vintage 60s and 70s watches. Brought to life by famed designer Emmanuel Gueit, the Dual Time models present two distinct sets of hour and minute indicators on a single dial. The collection offers two variants: one boasts a split dial with contrasting stone halves, while the other highlights the second time zone through the use of a sunray-finished subdial at 3 o’clock.

Thin profile, big appeal
The Dennison A.L.D Dual Time preserves the vintage television-shaped case of the previous models, measuring 37mm by 35.6mm. At a slim 6.1mm, it wears elegantly and confidently. The watch is offered in a polished stainless steel or gold-tone PVD finish. The intriguing dial is protected by a flat sapphire crystal, while a solid snap-on back case rounds out the design.
Twin power onboard
Powering these distinctive timepieces are not one, but two Ronda quartz movements. Echoing their vintage inspirations from the ‘60s and ‘70s, Dennison’s A.L.D. Dual Time models have a crown on either side of the case to set the respective time zone. A complementary Epsom calf leather strap with a pin buckle adds the finishing touch of sophistication.
