Toledano & Chan

Beyond ordinary

Although sculptural watches are not entirely new phenomena, the last decades have been marked by their absence from the spotlight. Enter Toledo & Chan: born from the creative partnership of artist and collector Phil Toledano and watch designer Alfred Chen, the brand set out to reawaken the art of sculptural horology with fresh vision and contemporary flair. The result? Strong blocky shapes and beveled contours, with just one gentle curve, the left-side crown, that quietly breaks the rules.

While the integrated bracelet revolution of the 1970s has played a part in shaping Toledano & Chan’s vision, their timepieces look straight out of tomorrow. Crafted from matte-blasted and brushed 904L stainless steel and paired with a seamless integrated bracelet, these watches wrap the wrist in fluid, uninterrupted lines. Toledano & Chan set out to achieve a clean, geometric aesthetic, delivering a watch that captures a sense of forward-thinking spirit— futuristic, yet remarkably uncomplicated.

Toledano & Chan HIGHLIGHTS

An ode to minimalist excellence

As the very first release from Toledano & Chen, the B1 makes a statement with its breathtaking lapis lazuli dial, offering a vivid counterpoint to its steel case and bracelet. Only two crisp dauphine hands sweep across its surface, underscoring the watch’s stripped-back sophistication. Beneath, the Sellita SW100 automatic movement with manual winding ensures precision, while 50m water resistance brings confidence for everyday wear.

A dramatic evolution

Building on the original B1, Toledano & Chan also offer the B/1.2 – a captivating reinterpretation that pushes their vision even further. The latest edition swaps the lapis lazuli for a Tahitian mother-of-pearl option, offering an edgier, more dramatic feel. A bold asymmetrical sapphire crystal now covers the dial, mirroring the geometric lines of the case and enhancing the watch’s architectural presence. The mechanical heart remains unchanged: the Swiss-made Sallita SW100.
