Driven by curiosity and a bold, creative spirit, Parisian microbrand Beaubleu has set out to challenge the conventions of traditional watchmaking. The Union collection leads the way, pairing the brand’s distinctive circular handset with a selection of models presented in two dial configurations.
Central to the Union collection is Beaubleu’s iconic circular handset, inspired by the pioneering astronomical work of Galileo Galilei. The design features three circles in different sizes, all connected at the lacquered or alabaster dial’s central point. The largest circle, used to indicate seconds, is distinguished by a contrasting colour. As for the hour and minute hands, they are coated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring clear readability in any lighting condition.
Throughout the Union collection, Beaubeu relies on a 39mm case that reveals an alternation of micro-grained and polished surfaces. Crafted from stainless steel (on some models featuring PVD coating), the case construction balances both vintage appeal and modern preferences. At only 9.4mm thick, the Union wears effortlessly, embodying the essence of a true dress watch perfectly.

Decoding the dial
Within the Union collection, Beaubleu offers two distinct dial layouts, each offering a unique take on keeping track of time. The first places the hours along an inner track, while the minutes are indicated on a printed outer ring featuring Arabic numerals and the Beaubleu name at the top. The second introduces a dotted inner track for hours, alongside an outer circle featuring printed line markers for minutes.
Function in focus
Powering the Union collection is the Miyota 9015 automatic movement, offering a 42-hour power reserve and visible through a sapphire exhibition caseback adorned with Beaubleu’s signature finishing. A 30m of water resistance rating adds a layer of practicality to these otherwise elegant designs.
