Independent brand Linde Werdelin not only looks to the steep mountain peaks for inspiration but also to the sea. With its Oktopus collection, the brand brings a new energy to the dive watch category. Since its launch, Linde Werdelin has established a reputation for designing and building watches featuring angular cases made from sophisticated materials such as titanium, gold and more. Never content with just following convention, Linde Werdelin also uses a proprietary carbon composite called 3DTP into select timepieces. The company has also opted to use only custom-made movements for its timepieces, which in the Oktopus series incorporate either a double-date display or moon phase complication. The front of the watch is dominated by a striking five-layer skeletonised dial that employs bold LumiNova-coated indices to ensure the watch is exceptionally legible.Â
